So, some good news...Caleb has another tooth!!!! The left one came through Friday. So within 2 weeks, hes got 2 teeth! I will miss his gummy smile...I know teeth will change his look completely!
Bad news.
Last Thursday, the 15th, I came home to a flooded house. There was an inch of water in the entire house. The back part of our bedroom, and the back part of Caleb's room, where the only rooms not affected. So we called the insurance co. and they sent Serve Pro out to come and extract the water. The water was coming out of the weep holes on the oustide of the house. So Serve Pro came in cleaned up the water, took out the carpet padding and put about 30 blower fans in the house (along with some humidifers so soak up the water). The 3 of us have been shacking up David's parents house. We are very blessed that they live this close, and have the room for us. Of course they dont mind, because we have Caleb to bribe them with...hehe The blowers left last Monday and since then, David and I have been working with our insurance co. on what needs to be done. We've had different contractors out to give us estimates, along with a wazoo of carpet people.
Last Friday work FINALLY got started on the house. It was just patching the drywall, but it was a start! Most of the baseboards got ripped out, along with the toe kicks from the cabinets. This week, David's dad will be at the house supervising the work. We are extremly greatful that his parents are able to help us out so much. Once the baseboards are in, we can move back in. I cant have Caleb crawling around with no baseboards and nails sticking out.

Trying to get the tooth shot...
Beep, Beep!!
Caleb got a car last Christmas from David parents. David got to assemble it this weekend, and Caleb LOVES it! There is a floor plate in it right now, so he can just sit in it. As he gets a littel older he will be able to "Fred Flinstone" it. He likes opening and closing his door, and dropping things outside of the car and trying to pick them up. Here are some pics!

Trip to New Orleans...so much to tell!
Well, not to New Orelans per say, but to Covington to visit my parents.
David and I made a trip to see my parents for the 4th. We decided to leave Thursday night at 8pm. Caleb slept ok for the most part, except for the bad parts of I-10. He woke on Friday with a small cough. We got to see my very good friends Angie and Kylei on Friday. It was so wonderful to see them!!! I attached some pics of Caleb and Layla (angie's 5mo girl) below. We had a blast (even though David had to work for a bit). I made our yummy sweet rolls for them and they got addicted to them!
Friday night was when it ALL started. Caleb was up all night in pain, which we can only conclude that it was stomach cramps. I make my 1st middle of the night CVS run. I find the medicine I need AND a awesome sale on Triple Paste (diaper cream that ROCKS...it always heals his rash). Sat he was almost himself, a little cranky, but hoarse (I assumed from crying the night before). He had a sore throat, cough and some congestion. Well Monday morning he had an ear infection. Whats nice about tubes is that you know for sure when they have one. Oozzie stuff comes out of his ear, its the ear draining the fluid. On the way home he was sleeping on and off. When he wasnt sleeping he was cranky and ready to get out of the car seat. He looked so pitiful yesterday :(
So today he is at my mother-in-law's. We decided to take him to the doc when she saw that his breathing was labored. Better to be safe than sorry. Doc said his lungs are good, but he has the baby version of a sinus infection :( Poor thing! Hes got fever too. Today when I brought him back it was up to 103. Hopefully tonight the antibotics will kick in and he will get back to his normal self.
Here is Layla and Caleb playing
My sick baby :( Just so tired!
