Poor Baby :(

Caleb rolled off our bed this morning :( He knocked his head on the carpet. Hes ok. I took him to the doc at lunch just in case, and everything is fine. Doc said nothing to worry about, doesnt even needs tests to be sure. Parents need merit badges as they go through these things!!!

He will be on the floor or in the pack-n-play from now on in the morning while we are getting ready.

Caleb, Mommy and Daddy are so very sorry!!!

Another Ear Infection

So our baby boy has his 2nd ear infection. Im not suprised because I ALWAYS had them as a child (in and out of the hospital with tubes), and David had them as well. He started with a clear runny nose and a dry cough (from the nose draining down). I actually thought it could be allergies, David's have been flaring up recently. I take him to the doc, and yup hes got an ear infection.

I did a nasal flush on him and he has been sleeping with the vaporizor on. Last night I did the nasal flush, which of course he hates now. So much mucus came out! He wouldnt look at me afterwards....he was very upset with mommy. How dare I do that to him! Of course daddy was there to be the hero. Little did he realize daddy was helping hold him. Of course Caleb forgave me and let me put him down for the night. He slept from 6:30 - 6am without waking once. He didnt snore because he could actually breathe! When we woke this morning you could tell he got a full nights rest.

So a few more days of antiboitics, maybe another nasal flush and Caleb will be back to normal.

Oh and I had a bad mommy moment. The medicine suggests to take with a meal or small snack for it could cause an upset stomach. Yesterday morning I gave it to him on an empty stomach, just so that the daycare wouldnt have to do it. Well after his morning bottle at daycare, Caleb threw up :( The girls said it looked like something out of a horror movie. It was projectile vomit. But do you know that little stinker just went right back to playing after he finished. Like nothing happened!

Still no teeth and hes not crawling, YET. I can tell he wants to so bad, and he is so good on his stomach pushing himself up. He just needs to figure out to put his knees under him.

We had a great Easter! Maria took some Easter pics of Caleb about 2 weeks ago. That came out great!!!! We also got him dressed in his Saints gear! Hope everyone had a great Easter!

Caleb has a new friend!

There is a cute little girl at daycare named Dallis. She is 2 days younger than Caleb, so the perfect age to do things together. Well before Caleb came, Dallis would play with Tripp (hes about 5-6 mo). Now that Caleb is here, Tripp is in the DUST! Caleb and Dallis are just too cute together. Here is a picture of them at daycare.

Caleb's 1st day at Daycare

So today is Caleb's 1st day at daycare. David and I chose to bring him to Imagination Campus (of course it took us a while to find one that we liked). Such a WONDERFUL place!! When we went for a tour we both knew he was going to go there. Really nice people there. You need a fingerprint to pick up your kids!

When I dropped him off he was a bit mellow...just taking it all in. He didnt cry, but he wouldnt smile for me when I left. I knew he was in great hands and it would just take him a bit to warm up to the girls. Ive only called twice today (Im proud that Ive I limited myself). He is doing awesome! Hes been eating on cue, took a little nap this morning, been playing with the other babies and the girls. I called this afternoon and they said hes been napping for an hour already, no problems! They also said, and I quote "He is our best baby". I need a PROUD MOM sign!! I know they could say that to every mom, but I dont care!
